It is time again for students in first through eighth grade to put their creative ideas on paper. The YOUNG AUTHORS PROJECT is back! Entry forms and rules are available at the Library and the main offices of both District 3 schools. All entries are due, along with the application, by 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7th. A reception honoring all participants will be held in February.
Winter Program registration is open! Be sure to come in and sign up for your favorite programs before spaces are full. Also, families should start creating an igloo for our competition. Anything goes! Use your imagination and bring your entry to the Library by January 31 to be on display. Then vote for your favorite igloo. The winner will receive an Amazon gift card. Have fun!
The halfway check-in for the Youth Winter Reading Club begins January 3rd. Remember to read 90 minutes a week to collect your rewards! For adults (9th grade and up), read just 3 books to earn a prize! Be sure to register soon!
